"Virtual" Conference Event Set for September 17
We want to thank all of the NMA members and sponsors who took time recently to complete our online survey about the 2020 Annual Fall Conference and other "in-person" events.
Based on the feedback from the survey, our Board of Directors concluded we have no option but to cancel the in person Conference that was scheduled for September 17 at the Lied Lodge and Conference Center in Nebraska City and move to a virtual option.
This is a decision that was made only after much research, analysis, and soul searching and conversations with several of our wonderful sponsors and exhibitors, and recent Conference attendees. The survey results indicated that roughly 50% of the members and sponsors who would normally attend the event would not be able to attend this year due to Covid-19 concerns and travel restrictions.
But now for the GOOD NEWS! We WILL hold a virtual event on September 17 that will include a great speaker named Holly Hoffman. Holly was a contentant on the "Survivor" TV program and you can read about her at https://hollyhoffman.org/survivor-nicaragua/
Since so many of us feel like we are in "survival mode" right now. Holly will remind us that we need to push forward and thrive during change. We feel like her message is one that people really need to hear right now.
In addition, the event will also include recognition of our "Champions Circle" award recipients and our "Mortgage Professional of the Year" winner.
Watch for more information coming soon!
