YES, we did say "Axe Throwing" -- This year's Holiday Party is set for Tuesday, December 3 at Flying Timber Axe Throwing in downtown Omaha! Proceed from the event will benefit Youth Emergency Services (YES) in Omaha.
Indoor Axe Throwing is the first non-tech social activity to go viral since...well...since things started going ‘viral’, and it has now made its way to Nebraska. When FLYING TIMBER AXE THROWING opened its doors June 2018, it was the first of its kind in Nebraska or Iowa.
The concept is simple; grab an axe, throw axe at target on the wall, pull axe out of the wall, and have fun watching your friends throw their axes as you impatiently wait for your next turn. It’s 1 part darts, 1 part bowling, 1 part batting cages, 1 part shuffle board and ALL PARTS FUN!

WAIVER FORM: You must sign a Waiver before entering the establishment. You will be able to sign the waiver form at the registration table. BUT - we strongly recommend that to avoid any long lines, once you have registered to attend, please take a minute to complete the online waiver form at https://vantora.com/e/ftat/waiver/
DRIVER'S LICENSE: Please be sure to bring your driver's license with you if you are planning to consume alcohol.
ATTIRE: You are required to wear close-toed shoes. Flannel and jeans are suggested if you plan to be an axe-thrower!
PARKING: There is on-street meter parking and also a nearby parking garage at 15th & Douglas.
Please plan to arrive promptly at 5:30 if at all possible so that we can get everyone checked in.
6:00 – 6:45 – Group Safety Introduction, lane assignments, warm-up throwing with a coach.
6:45 – 8:00 – Two games will be played using eight "lanes" for throwing with up to seven throwers per lane: The first game is team vs. team and the second game is an individual best score competition. T-shirts will go to the winners!
REGISTRATION: HURRY and register today! Spots will fill up fast for this event. Cost is $20 per person and includes food plus two drink tickets. Proceeds from this event will be donated to a local charity - details TBA soon.
